Your tour begins high atop the Island in the Sky mesa and descends via the steep switchbacks of the Shafer Trail. This trail offers incredible views of the Colorado River and its surrounding natural beauty. The ancient culture of the Ancestral Puebloeans left evidence of their lives in the canyons, providing visitors to stop and marvel at their mysterious and beautiful rock art before entering the Arches National Park. Enjoy viewing iconic landforms and natural land arches as you make your way to the Devil's Garden for a deli-style lunch. 

After lunch, head out on a backcountry Arches 4x4 tour. The trail climbs a steep but short rock wall, cuts across a valley and meanders through sandstone fins and dunes. En route, pass the Marching Men, Tower Arch, and the Eye of the Whale. Your tour will be tailored to your level of interest and fitness to include opportunities to hike or sightsee upon request.
